About Me

I am a collector of lessons and a seeker of steady ground.

Writing under the name Ash Falls, I explore the intersection of human grit and gentle grace. This is a space for what remains after the fire and what grows after the rain. Most of us are taught to sugarcoat the sour parts of life and keep moving, but I believe there is a deeper craft in acknowledging the bitterness, finding the lesson within it, and—when the time is right—letting it go.

I’ve learned that when you spend a lot of time catching your balance you gain a certain perspective. You learn exactly what is worth holding onto, and exactly what needs to be let go.

My work is dedicated to turning the chaos of life into something purposeful, one word at a time. I’m still clumsy, still learning to trust the fall, and still convinced that it was never really about the lemons.

Take what you need, and leave the rest to the dirt.
