{"id":144,"date":"2026-07-13T02:55:30","date_gmt":"2026-07-13T02:55:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ashfalls.com\/?p=144"},"modified":"2026-07-13T02:58:09","modified_gmt":"2026-07-13T02:58:09","slug":"the-rain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ashfalls.com\/?p=144","title":{"rendered":"The Rain"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes rain is miserable,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But after a fire, rain can feel like hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The smoke is gone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ash is washing away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just the sound of the rain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But nothing,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and no one,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">can regrow alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For some of us the hardest part is asking for help,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">allowing help,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">or even recognizing we need help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But the rain doesn\u2019t fall to wash us away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It falls to wash us clean and allow new growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But we have to allow people to see us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To see the exhaustion,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The brokenness,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The wreckage,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And trust that they will know us,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speak to what they see,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And tell us the truth.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sometimes rain is miserable, But after a fire, rain can feel like hope.
